Hello, friends, and welcome to another edition of SuperNews.

September has been busy with new updates too, so from this month onwards, it’s possible to disband a company or gang even if only its owner remains in the crew.
When a fire is reported, firefighters will be shown the town where the mission is located. On the way there, not only firefighters but anyone can use tuning options and the /repair command to repair their vehicles.
A hotel room? No problem! Even if you enter more hours than you can afford to book, reception will recalculate it and book you a room only for as many hours as you can afford, charging you only for the hours booked, not the extra ones you entered. Just a reminder… players without a Classic Premium subscription get 48 hours; with Premium, 96 hours.
If you place a bet on the races, you’ll find out straight away what position your horse finished in – or, more precisely, how far from the back it was – and why you didn’t win.
Recently, the palm trees in Green Palms have started to show signs of spontaneous combustion, so a new mission for the fire brigade has been introduced there.
Similarly, the fire at house no. 6 has been fixed (a supply of petrol has been added to prevent the house from being extinguished).
Weapon deliveries to the soldier have been fixed, and the command /misevwoff has been added.
If you’re bidding on a car, you cannot move it out of your garage whilst the auction is in progress.
A few tweaks have also been made to the casino games, the wheel of fortune, the dealer’s missions and other minor issues on the server.

Right at the start of the month, Antivirus stepped down from his role as fraud administrator. Skylake has taken his place.
CpT. and Ove8 were promoted to server moderators, and shortly afterwards, Larex became the new junior administrator.
Tears has been the new Events Organiser since September.
September has also seen changes in the admin team’s leadership. For personal reasons, Nosferatu not only stepped down from the role of chief administrator but was also forced to leave the admin team altogether. Panther was elected to replace him, becoming the new chief administrator!
Salazar has become the new pUB judge for the server, and KoLoB for the website. Za[G]z has become the new Events Manager.
Changes have also affected the SuperNews editorial team. Warning no longer has time to write and has therefore stepped down from his role as editor.
The admin team gives, but it also takes away. LSK was sacked for failing to fulfil his duties. The vacant position was therefore filled by the ‘old-new’ Baseball.
Arbys has also been appointed as a moderator.

A total of 872 warnings were issued during September. Skylake issued the most – 112. There were 184 bans, with Skylake once again leading the way with 36.
Freezes had to be used a total of 67 times, with Arbys issuing the most (44 times).
Mutes were issued 588 times. Larex had to intervene 114 times, which was also the highest number.
There were 112 kicks, the most of which (35) were issued by Wery.
An incredible 183 time bans were issued, with Wery once again leading the way with 35 bans.
There were 3 permanent bans: two by Skylake and one by Pink.
A total of 422 events were organised! Arbys organised the most, with a total of 67.
There were also quite a few inappropriate posts. A total of 104 had to be deleted. Larex and Skylake each deleted 20.

Today we have prepared an interview for you with the chief administrators, Fifa and Panther. As mentioned a few lines above, Panther is the new chief administrator, so the SN editorial team has also interviewed him.
SN Editorial Team: Gentlemen, you’re both in the role of Head Administrator – one of you has been in the role for some time, the other is new to it. Tell us, what were your early days like at Superpařba?
Fifa: Well, I’ll go first. My start dates back to 2009, but that was so long ago that I can’t really remember what I was doing back then. So I’ll start with my next beginning, which was in 2013. Like everyone else, I wanted property, a business and a nice house, so I spent most of my time working at ‘Jail Company’ for the player ‘lukino’ as a guard. He took me under his wing, explained everything about the mod to me, and we played together almost every day. He then lent me money to set up my own company, called “Prison Guard”, and to hire prison guards. During that time, I earned enough money to buy a house, some vehicles and a small piece of property – that was basically all I wanted on the server. After that, I also got involved in racing with various small gangs, where I got to know the other side of the mod and met loads of players there; we chatted and really enjoyed the game. That’s my start in a nutshell.
Panther: To be honest, I don’t even remember my early days on SP that clearly. Back when I was at secondary school, a classmate and I set up our own SAMP server, but it was just the two of us playing on it and we couldn’t get any other players to join us. I don’t know by what miracle I ended up on SP, but I started playing actively there straight away. I don’t even remember the exact month or year. At first, it was all a bit chaotic for me – a million commands, bits of information, jobs… I couldn’t quite get my head round the whole mod. The first organisation I joined was the Las Venturas Military Base, where I’d already made some SP friends and they gradually brought me up to speed on everything. After that, it all just developed from there.
SN Editorial Team: A million commands – I can certainly relate to that. In any case, Fifa was effectively there right from the very early days of Superpařba. What led you to this server? After all, it wasn’t the only SAMP server out there. What caught your eye?
Panther: To be completely honest, I chose the server based on its name. When I was browsing SAMP servers, I liked the fact that it was called ‘Real Earth’. Of course, the number of players was also a factor, but the very concept of ‘ Real Earth’ made me log on to the server and see just how realistic it really was.
Fifa: Well, I used to play on servers running the Maikeroo Town mod; it was a mod I really enjoyed. As the mod was freely available to download, from what I could tell, quite a few CZ/SK servers had it; some servers even managed to tweak it a bit, and it had its own charm. But all good things come to an end, and unfortunately the mod wasn’t developed any further, and those who owned the servers probably didn’t know how to look after them, so the servers gradually shut down and I had almost nowhere left to play. So I searched online and tried out the biggest servers of the time. I also spent a few hours on the servers that are now Superpařba’s competitors, but I never enjoyed them enough to stick around. And SP itself reminded me a lot of the Maikeroo Town mod, which is why I stayed here and always enjoyed coming back.
Panther: And once I’d joined that server, I didn’t see any reason to try anything else. I’m the sort of person who doesn’t really like change, and once I’ve started something and can ‘achieve’ something in that game, I’m not going to spoil it by playing on other servers. I’m a ‘regular’, and I’ve never played on any other server for more than an hour, so I didn’t really have anything to compare it with,
SN Editorial Team: We’ll definitely look back on that first spawn in the LV airport car park – what were your initial feelings about the mod? First impressions? Fifo, could you give us a rough idea of how many players were here back in 2009… You probably won’t remember exactly, but was it more or less than 100?
Fifa: Johnny, I really don’t remember that and I can’t say. But SP was one of the biggest servers right from the start, so I’d go so far as to say there were well over 100 players here. And my first impressions after logging in? Terrible. Loads of welcome text, where I was immediately hit with several commands I might need at some point, server rules and similar stuff that nobody’s interested in at the start. You actually spawn and want to play, but after a while you realise that the only thing you can do is drive around the map in a vehicle, because you’ve no idea what to do on the server. At most, you can get a driving licence for a car. Then you just ask around, and basically everyone tells you to use the commands that pop up when you first log in. So they’re not useless, as you might think at first :D
Panther: I’ve basically already described my feelings to you. It was all a bit chaotic for me, but despite that I wanted to learn and I wanted to play there. It seemed to me that there were endless possibilities on the server, and I didn’t understand 90 per cent of it at all.
Fifa: Panther, nobody does – we know this from the questions newbies ask us. You’ve got to play on the server for a while before you might start enjoying it.
SN Editorial Team: There’s a well-known saying: you learn from your mistakes. Everyone’s had to make a few blunders to realise that this probably isn’t the way to go…
Panther: Sometimes you don’t even realise it, because for us it’s all second nature. But for newbies it really isn’t easy, and I think there are even more options on SP now than when we were starting out.
Fifa: I, on the other hand, think the server is now mainly tailored for newcomers, because both on the website and on the server in /help, they have everything they need to start playing at their own pace and figure out what they’re actually supposed to do on the server. Back then, the server was so stripped-back that even after buying a vehicle, 90 per cent of the time a newcomer wouldn’t park it in their garage. I used to make money that way too – I’d look for abandoned cars and resell them. Now, it’s definitely all much easier for newcomers.
Panther: Yes, Fifo, you’re absolutely right. But you yourself mentioned how, as soon as you connected to the server, you were greeted by an incredible amount of text. Do you think any of the newbies actually read all that in detail? If they did, it would be much easier for them – and, of course, for us too :)
SN Editorial Team: Yes, I remember that too. I bought my first helicopter, the Raindance, and after logging out, it had disappeared. It was only then that I found out you had to park the vehicle in the garage.
Panther: As for me, somehow, by some miracle, a bus ended up in my garage, and I still don’t know how. It was really interesting in the early days.
Fifa: I agree, I didn’t read it either – I reckon very few people actually do. Everyone just wants to start playing straight away and isn’t interested in the welcome text. I even skip the intro sequences in various games; it’s only after I’ve played a bit that I start the game from the beginning and really get into the story. So, in a way, it’s a tricky server for newbies, but only because people are lazy and don’t want to read anything.
SN Editorial Team: Before you started playing multiplayer, did you play the offline story as well?
Fifa: I mainly played single-player; I only found out later that there was a multiplayer mode.
Panther: Of course. I finished it about three times, but unfortunately not even once without using cheats.
SN Editorial Team: Fifa, did you finish it?
Fifa: I finished it about twice, but I have to admit that s0beit was a big help…
Panther: I deliberately wrote down the cheats – I meant the classic ones like BAGUVIX. I only started using s0beit and cheats in general for the first time when I got into AT. I needed to know how it worked.
Fifa: Oh yeah, actually, I’d completely forgotten about those… AEZAKMI, UZUMYMW, MONSTERMASH – I still remember them
SN Editorial Team: Do you have any other experience with other GTA games? I don’t mean ‘Fifth’ specifically; I’m thinking more about what you were playing before you started San Andreas.
Panther: I’ve played them all. Starting from the top: GTA 1 and GTA 2… I’ve also completed GTA 3 in full, and don’t even get me started on Vice City. I’m still stuck on San Andreas.
Fifa: Well, I’ve still got the original GTA 2 at home – that was a game!!! Then I played Vice City for a while, followed by San Andreas, and moved on through GTA IV right up to GTA V.
SN Editorial Team: Did multiplayer grab you straight away? Did you go into it thinking ‘Blimey, this is brilliant!!’ or more like ‘I’ll give it a go and see...’?
Panther: As soon as I got into MP, I completely ditched single-player. It definitely blew me away!
Fifa: Multiplayer’s always better than single-player. So I went into it thinking, “Blimey, this is brilliant.” Multiplayer is never the same – you’re simply playing with other players, whether it’s someone sitting next to you or on the other side of the world.
In fact, I don’t even look for games where I can’t play with anyone else anymore. It’s definitely better and more fun for me.
SN Editorial Team: So you got into MP and all the way to the Super Party itself. Fifa wrote that he was a prison guard, which I remember, because I was in prison once and saw that it wasn’t such a bad way to earn a living in such a small place by fighting and running about, so I started doing it too. Then I wrote to Fifa – back then he was still fifaPK or something like that :D – and joined his company. I remember you were there with Antivirus.
Fifa: I don’t even remember you being in the company with me… I only really remember a very small number of players from back then, mainly those who helped me out in some way when I was starting out. And yes, you’ve got the nickname absolutely right ;)
SN Editorial Team: Panthere, why a soldier? What caught your interest? What made you think this job would put food on the table for you in the early days? After all, a newcomer chooses a job for an easy bit of cash and because it seems sort of interesting to them; maybe they even see themselves doing it in real life. You said to yourself: ‘I’ll be a soldier and join a company of soldiers.’ So tell us why?!
Panther: My very first job was as a police officer. I wasn’t very good at it, though, so my second choice was to be a soldier. I don’t really know why – I suppose I wanted to be on the side of good. When I then realised that all you need is a good crew to ride around the map with and kill people – and, of course, the dollars were rolling in – I didn’t even bother trying any other job. That came later.
SN Editorial Team: Now it’s more the side of evil, isn’t it? :D
Panther: No, now it’s the side of even greater good :D
And actually, I’m not really focusing on the job that much at the moment.
Fifa: For some players, we’re the bad guys – let’s face it :D
SN Editorial Team: You’ve been playing and playing, and here’s what most people are probably waiting for. The admin team! What prompted that?
Fifa: As I wrote, I didn’t want to be an admin, but since I’d already tried my luck, I wanted to be the nice one who’d entertain the players and help them. But it often doesn’t work out that way, and unfortunately there have been a few times when I’ve had to add a ‘friend’ to the ban list.
Panther: No. I’ve never been like that and I never will be, and that’s what sets me apart from many others. Everyone says I’m too good for the players. I still see it as a game, though – it’s not a matter of life and death, and you need to know how to get on even with hooligans; that makes your job even easier… Of
course, as Fifa says, treat everyone equally – it’s more about the way you communicate.
SN Editorial Team: That sort of administrator is the best; the real challenge isn’t in banning a troublemaker, but in punishing a friend, even though it can be difficult – and often is. Fifa has already tried it, Panther – have you ever had to take action against a friend of yours?
Panther: Of course. In fact, there was a rather heated case recently. I won’t go into the details, though. In AT, you really can’t distinguish between friends and non-friends when handing out punishments. I discussed it with him afterwards and he understood.
SN Editorial Team: What’s your view on cooperation amongst AT members and the composition of the AT as a whole? Do the administrators work well together?
Fifa: That’s a question Panther and I are constantly grappling with at the moment. I’ve also discussed it many times with Nosf. Within the admin team, there are stronger members who work harder than average, and weaker members who stop putting in the effort. Fortunately, everything’s been managed somehow so far and there aren’t any gaps, so I think the AT is well put together at the moment. Are they working well together? I think so; there isn’t anyone in the admin team right now who’s a real thorn in anyone else’s side – at least, I hope not. We’re a big group of people who chat about all sorts of things. Of course, there are sometimes situations where one of the administrators makes a mistake, but who hasn’t made one at some point… We, the main admin team, are dealing with this and will continue to do so; it’s something that will never be set in stone.
Panther: There’s always something that isn’t working, wherever you look. Overall, though, I think the admin team is doing a great job and we’re constantly working to make things better and better. It’s still difficult for me to assess this from the position of lead administrator, as I’ve only been in the role for a short time. It’s about working and collaborating with people, and everyone is different. So far, though, I really can’t say anything negative.
SN Editorial Team: And this task of managing the admin team now rests on your shoulders. Steering it in the right direction. Fifo, do you think you’ve been managing it well during your time as head admin? Have you ever felt that it isn’t worth the stress and that you’d rather go back to being a player who doesn’t have to worry about anything and just roams the map?
Fifa: Look, this is a question I’ve asked myself several times and have never been able to answer clearly enough to make up my mind and do what might be necessary. Have I steered the admin team in the right direction so far? I think I have, because there are people of different personalities in the admin team. One administrator might prefer ‘that’ and focus on it, whilst another might prefer ‘that’. As long as an administrator is still enjoying it, they’re doing a good job. For me, the priority is that the administrator in question does their job well. Of course, there’s one thing that’s really getting on my nerves at the moment, which I’d like to do something about, and that’s Krowky’s departure from his role as crew administrator. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m up to the job. Krowky is exactly the sort of person who steered the gangs in the right direction and looked after them. And would I ever return to the role of a player? It’ll definitely happen – it might be in a week, it might be in a year. But I like my ‘job’; I enjoy looking after the server, so I’ve no plans to leave just yet. When the time comes, it’ll come – I’ll leave from one moment to the next, and I’ll probably only pop into SP now and then to see what’s new.
SN Editorial Team: Panthere, it’s probably a bit early to ask you this, but I’ll give it a go. Do you already have an idea of the direction you want to take the admin team in? Of course, it’s not just up to you, but also to Fifa, as you’re constantly consulting with each other until you agree on a compromise. But do you already have any ideas that you’d like to implement in the future, which would be reflected in the admin team’s day-to-day running and ‘behaviour’ towards players? Or do you think the admin team’s current state and conduct on the server are just right?
Panther: It’s really too early for me to answer that question. I haven’t given it much thought yet and I’m still getting to grips with the role. Personally, I don’t think anything extra needs changing… In my opinion, Fifa and Nosfe did their jobs absolutely perfectly. The only thing I can tell you right now is that I want to get on well with Fifa. Of course, I want to get on well with the whole of AT, but Fifa and I are here to run things. If two people are to manage the server and the admin team, we need to get on with each other, reach agreements and share at least a broadly similar vision and outlook. I do think, however, that we’re managing that so far.
SN Editorial Team: I feel the same way, and if I may speak for my colleagues, so does the rest of the AT. Well, gentlemen, we’ve spent an hour and three-quarters here; I won’t keep you any longer – after all, it’s evening and everyone wants to relax.
To wrap up, I’d like to ask each of you if you have any advice for the players on the server.
Fifa: Advice for players? Make sure you use the ‘/help’ command – there’s plenty of information there to get you started!!! And I’d also like everyone to treat each other a bit better than they do at the moment, but even Father Christmas can’t make that happen, unfortunately. I’d also like players to be more considerate towards the AT and not create unnecessary work for them, but that’s just a pipe dream. Thanks for the nice chat – hopefully the players will enjoy it, and if anyone’s read this right to the end, please write “PAPOUŠEK” in the comments. Let’s spam the comments a bit too!!!
PS: We’re glad that the rest of the AT team shares Panther’s views – that’s what we’re all about, after all ;)
Panther: Advice for players? Probably just this: players should treat the admins the way they’d like the admins to treat them. That would make things much more fun on the server straight away. Unfortunately, some people forget that members of the admin team are just ordinary players who’ve decided to do a bit more for the server.
Thanks for the interview. I didn’t even realise we’d spent so much time here :)
SN Editorial Team: Gentlemen, thank you once again and I wish you every success in your future endeavours!
