Server Information
Articles Hierarchy

Hello to all the gamers at SuperPařba. Another month has flown by, so let’s dive straight into the round-up of news for April. Quite a lot has happened this month, so make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the read.

SERVER NEWS AND FIXES
- The security system has been updated. You can now purchase security for 10 days (without having to log in for a certain amount of time), and for the following 20 days, you’ll need to buy it using credits and log in for a certain amount of time on the server.
- We’ve added an information table for certain properties to the server (/propertyinfo ID). Here you’ll find details about the property that may help you when selling or buying it. We’ve also added this shortened command (/pi ID) to the auction notification.
- As you’ve complained that you don’t know when your rented garage will break down, we’ve added an SMS alert to your mobile phone. This benefit is available only to Premium Classic owners.
- New maps have been added to the random gang race, and the race setup has been adjusted.
- As some people like to use CAPS LOCK, we’ve added the option to fill a canister using the capital letter K.
- The credit bank is now available in every bank. You can find it using the /bank command. So feel free to withdraw money and buy credits there.
- As you like using colours, we’ve added a more comprehensive list of HEX codes to the server, which you can find using the /hex command or in /colours after clicking the bottom-left button.
- The /help command has been reorganised into individual dialogues and sub-dialogues to make it easier to navigate. It has also been sorted alphabetically.
- Many of you enjoy your morning coffee on your terrace, so we’ve added the option for certain houses to have their own terrace, which you can access by pressing N.
- The labelling of detective stories in the dialogue where they are selected has been changed. They are now clearer.
- We’ve improved the /chatoff command, which now clears your chat history. You can then re-enable chat as usual using /chaton.
- Information about individual events has been added to the stadium and to /help. This will make it easier for you to complete them, as you’ll have clearer instructions.
- At the fire station, your forklift and dozer would often disappear. This bug should now be fixed, so you can always complete the mission without any issues.
- At the fisherman’s, it was possible to catch more fish than allowed using a net. Now, if the fisherman catches more fish than permitted, the excess fish will be released. Perhaps this will grant them a wish, just like releasing a goldfish in fairy tales.
- Random Gang TDM will no longer start if only one gang is connected.
- In the ‘Runners vs Riders’ or ‘Runners vs Shooters’ events, if you join a Riders’ team vehicle as a Runner or Shooter, you will be disqualified. This is to prevent abuse of position within the event.
You can find further minor fixes and updates using the /updates command.
NEWS AND FIXES ON THE WEBSITE
- Comments and reactions have been added to the gallery. This allows you to show your support for videos more effectively.
- New categories have been added to the leaderboards – most liked, worst and most popular.
- If you are banned from the website, the admin who banned you will also notify you.
- A new news item identifier has been added; if you haven’t read a news item yet, it will be highlighted in orange. This makes it easier for you to keep track of new updates.
- The padding in the search function has also been fixed.
- The leaderboards were previously displaying empty accounts. This should now be fixed.
- The ranking system in the leaderboards has been fixed. Now, if several people have the same number of points/rs, they will have the same rank.
- As some people were being tempted by unapproved media in the gallery – which could be viewed due to a bug – Darius has disabled this and fixed the bug.
- The counter for news/articles read by unregistered users has also been fixed.
Further minor fixes and updates can be found on the website in the Forums – Website Discussion section.

EASTER WEEKEND
- Together with the Event Organisers, we’ve prepared an event for you called Easter Weekend. This mega event took place on 3 and 4 April. Over the weekend, we organised Easter-themed activities for you, for which you earned points, and the players with the most points went on to win prizes. [P]ida performed best across all the activities and clinched first place in this mega-event.
EASTER EGG HUNT
- On 5 April 2021 at 8.00 pm, an Easter egg hunt took place on the server. Everyone had the chance to find a reward in the form of money or event points. It took a very long time to find the eggs, but in the end, with the help of a few clues, you managed to collect them all.
EASTER PARADE AND AFTER-PARTY
- Immediately after the Easter egg hunt on the server, the Easter parade took place. During this parade, we walked through the streets of San Andreas. To keep things interesting, we’d set up stations along the route where you could collect a stamp and a small reward. Quite a lot of players took part in the parade, including Aure’s group, who organised their own little procession. Eventually, we arrived at the party house, where we played a few songs together, had a dance and, for those who fancied it, enjoyed a drink at the bar. The best dancers and party-goers were rewarded with a certificate.
EVENT WEEK WITH THE ADMIN TEAM
- This week of events took place from 19–25 April. During this week, the administrators organised events for you, which they then had to record in a table along with the winners of each event. You collected points for these events, and the best players of the whole week were rewarded with a bigger prize at the end. bagr77_ performed best over the whole week, securing first place.

CHANGES TO THE ADMIN TEAM
▷ Right at the start of the month, the Council Moderator voluntarily left the admin team.
▷ Zorys was suspended from his role as Moderator and was eventually dismissed for inappropriate behaviour whilst suspended.
▷ Unfortunately, Administrator Gameluner also left us of his own accord this month. We wish him the very best of luck in his future endeavours.
▷ Bratek has become the new Administrator. He has thus been promoted from the position of Moderator.
▷ Evry’s rights to organise events have been revoked so that he can focus more fully on his role as a server Moderator.
▷ As Gameluner held many roles, Kacka has become the new ban appeal judge and soldier Salazar has become the new fraud manager. MegaBite has become the new website moderator and is now keeping an eye on your every move, not only on the server but also on the website.
▷ Event organiser Nukaz has, unfortunately, decided to leave the admin team. Replacing him is the dreaded Maxgustin, who will once again be organising events for you.
▷ A trial period has begun for the new OA role, with Hope, Terka and Restart competing for the position. Who will become the new OA? That remains to be seen, but you’ll certainly find out in future SNs.
▷ Unfortunately, after a long spell with us, Administrator Wery is also leaving; she has had to step down from all admin roles for personal reasons. She remains the site’s chief administrator, though, so keep an eye on her and make sure you create your threads correctly.
▷ The troublemaker Domes was suspended at the end of the month for causing mischief on the server. Players will therefore have a break from him on the server for a while.
STATISTICS
▷ You’ve had to be warned a total of 399 times for minor offences.
▷ 220 people ended up behind bars, locked out by the admins.
▷ You were kicked off the server 163 times.
▷ 388 players were muted, mainly for spamming.
▷ The administrators answered 1,492 of your queries.
▷ 226 events were organised for you.
▷ It’s been quite a busy month on the website. A total of 22 suspensions and 2 permanent bans were issued. Two cheaters were caught and dealt with.

MAXGUSTIN: PLAYERS ARE WORRYING ABOUT TRIVIALITIES AND GOING OFF-TOPIC
- This month (April), Maxgustin stepped down from his roles as tester and server developer. He has also become the new OA. What does he have to say about players’ views on the future of SP, and why did he have to step down from his roles? You’ll find out all this below.
“Hi Maxi, welcome to this short interview for SN readers. This month (April), we noticed that you’ve stepped down from your roles as tester and server developer. Why did you do that?”
╚ Hello Czechu, and hello to all the readers as well. As for my so-called ‘departure’ from the roles of tester and developer, it was mainly down to a lack of time – I needed a break from it, and at the same time I had to sort out some personal matters in real life.
“‘I didn’t have time’ – and yet you then accepted the offer to become OA again. Do you actually have time for that now? Is it less demanding than the work of a tester?”
╚ Well, I received the offer to be an OA about half a week after stepping down from my roles. I also hesitated, based on my own judgement and that of my friends in the role, about whether to take it or not. Otherwise, I’d say that the work of an event organiser is a lot easier than that of a tester or developer.
“Are you planning to return to those roles?”
╚ Under certain conditions, most likely yes.
“Do you think there are any suitable candidates for potential new testers? Or is it, as they say, a bit of a struggle?”
╚ You can always find the odd person who’s got a bit of a brain and is capable of learning something new, even if the current list of candidates for this role is, as you say, ‘a bit of a struggle’. I know from my own experience that it’s not easy, especially at the start. Now I’m glad I learnt it and I’ve got plenty of opportunities for the future.
“There have been various debates popping up online recently about where SP should actually be heading in the future. From your perspective as a developer and tester, in which direction do you think it should evolve, and what do you make of any comments or suggestions from players? Are their suggestions on the right track?”
╚ As far as development is concerned, in my opinion it’s heading in the right direction, but players will never understand that it doesn’t happen at the snap of a finger. Mainly, the things we’re working on sometimes take quite a long time, so players don’t see them straight away; that’s why they come up with these suggestions, which just deal with nonsense, and most players are completely off the mark. There are also a few individuals who can write a suggestion in a decent and clear way, one that can actually be implemented. Players should realise that this is a very old game and not everything can be applied here.
“That’s all. Thank you for this short interview for SN.”
╚ Thank you too for this opportunity.
DOMES: I WON’T LET A FEW INDIVIDUALS RUN RINGE-AROUND-THE-ROSY OVER ME
- These are the words of Domes – the SuperPařba administrator who was suspended this month (April). What does he have to say about his suspension and his conduct? How does he view the issue of OA, which has been under discussion recently? You’ll find out all this below.
“Hi Domes, welcome to this short interview for SN. Readers may have noticed that at the end of the month you reappeared on the site without privileges – so what was the reason for your suspension?”
╚ Hi, the reason was simple – and quite common for me – namely, inappropriate behaviour.
“Can you outline exactly how you behaved inappropriately? Do you think the suspension was justified?”
╚ I’ll send you the exact reason why it happened. Well, perhaps it was proportionate, but afterwards I felt the length of the suspension was a bit too long just for the ‘stars’. [28 April 2021 16:00:04] [Chat] DOMINICKU YOU ***KO PO*****A VY****NA HOW ARE YOU
「Did this player provoke you in some way, or was it just some sort of “joke” at his expense?」
╚ I’ve been having disputes with this player for several months now. It certainly wasn’t meant as a joke.
“What’s causing these disputes?”
╚ To be honest, I don’t know anymore, but it’s definitely because I gave him some sort of penalty.
“After all, you’re an administrator; shouldn’t admins be able to control such behaviour and not let themselves be provoked?”
╚ They should, but I won’t let a few individuals walk all over me, and I’d rather tell them straight to their faces what I think, even if it means getting a warning, a suspension or, as a last resort, being kicked out of AT.
“Over the last month, there have also been some comments about event organisers. That they’re bad at assigning CP, poor at organising and running events, and behave inappropriately. Do you think these claims are true, or is it just some kind of distortion from the players?”
╚ A couple of event organisers have been slacking off recently, and it’s true that the quality of the events isn’t what we’d expect, but lately there hasn’t been time to explain things to them in a bit more detail. As for the organisers’ behaviour, I haven’t seen anything that would be against the server’s rules or AT’s rules.
“Right, that’s all then. Thank you for the short interview for SN readers. Have a lovely rest of the day.”
╚ Yeah, you’re welcome.
WERY: I DON’T THINK IT’S VERY PROFESSIONAL TO PUNISH PLAYERS OUT OF BIAS
- Wery is the site’s chief administrator and, more recently, a server administrator as well. How does she view the current situation regarding the punishment of players? Is she planning to step down from her role as chief administrator of the site as well? You’ll find out all this below.
“Hi Wery, welcome to this short interview for SN. Players may have noticed this month (April) that, after many years of service, you’ve left the admin team – what led you to do that? Did you ever feel the need to leave the admin team in the past?”
╚ “Hi, well, I’m not sure if the players would have actually noticed, because I didn’t receive any messages – especially not from those who seem to write to every departing administrator, ‘don’t leave, SP will die without you’.” As you can see, it didn’t die, and neither did I, so it’s just a normal departure from the admin team. To tell you the truth, there have been plenty of departures – practically from my very first day on the admin team. Most of the time, I wanted to leave in protest at a management decision on an issue I disagreed with. In the end, I came to terms with the decision anyway – you have to look at it from both sides – but it’s more or less become a hobby of mine. :D At the moment, my final departure – the definitive one – is for somewhat different reasons, namely personal ones. You never know what life has in store for you; unfortunately, I now have to devote more time to real-life problems – the gaming ones are a piece of cake compared to them.
“Even though you have some personal reasons now, you’ve still remained the main admin of the website. Why haven’t you stepped down from that role as well, or have you considered leaving? Doesn’t it take up a lot of your time too?”
╚ The role of main website administrator isn’t as time-consuming as the server role. On the website, I don’t have to chase stats or keep myself active. These days, you have the website on your mobile, whereas the server doesn’t work that way, so as long as the situation and the internet allow it, I can work away from my PC. I’m not a fan of people who are constantly asking for time off just to keep their privileges, even though they’re practically no longer of any benefit to the server and will leave anyway in the end, which is why I chose to leave.
“Do you think there are still, as you mention… so-called ‘excuse-makers’ and admins who aren’t contributing anything at all?”
╚ Of course, and quite a few of them, but I won’t name names. Everyone has to search their own conscience.
“Lately, there’s been a sort of backlash on the website and the server against AT’s punishments – for example, claims that they’re biased, punishing people for trivial things and outside the rules. As a former administrator, what’s your view on the fact that this sort of sentiment has been spreading more and more recently?”
╚ To tell you the truth, this is a perennial problem in the player-versus-admin dynamic. A player breaks the rules and is surprised to receive a penalty; conversely, an administrator who tries to artificially build up their own respect by penalising players in a biased manner simply because they’re in a so-called rivalry with them doesn’t strike me as very professional. However, as a member of the AT (let’s be honest), I’ve noticed this with some people too, but it wasn’t my concern, so I tended to focus on my own duties and work. But if it crossed certain lines, I naturally informed the head administrators; there’s nothing wrong with that. The main administrators aren’t on the server 24/7, and when they are online, it’s more or less a given that people will behave impeccably in their presence. Personally, I had no vested interest in punishing or, conversely, favouring anyone, even though it might have appeared that way at first glance; but at the heart of the whole issue, it was quite the opposite. For example, I maintained a certain distance from the players; I had no problem punishing even my closer virtual friends – if that were a problem, I’d have no place in AT.
“You mention your definitive departure, but is there any chance or possibility that you’ll return to AT, or has your era come to an end and you no longer have any desire for anything like that?”
╚ As I’m not a fan of so-called ‘flashbacks’ – or only in very exceptional cases – then for myself, definitely not. Leaving aside the reasons for my departure, I’ve achieved everything I ever wanted as a player in AT, and I no longer had any further goals – and unfortunately, I need to have constant goals to keep me striving for something.
“After all, you’re not the youngest anymore and you’ve got a personal life too, which might mean you won’t even have time for the website anymore. Do you think there’s a good candidate for the main website, or will the role just be handed over to someone else after you leave?”
╚ Thank you for the compliment :D But you’re right, it’s time for me to give younger people a chance – people who’ll devote all their time to it, entirely on a voluntary basis. I haven’t thought about stepping down as the main website administrator yet, but if such a situation were to arise, I’d have a few candidates in mind. It might not seem like it from the outside, but holding this post is quite demanding; it involves a certain amount of responsibility and, above all, the necessary administrative skills, so if I were to step down from this role, I certainly wouldn’t just hand it over to someone at random.
└ The FAQ (server) has been updated on the website.
└ Maxgustin has been awarded the rank of Graphic Designer on the website.
└ Administrator Reggie has once again been awarded the SP Legend title, which had previously been revoked.
└ Octavia was removed from the waste sorter due to inactivity. restart_ has become the new waste sorter.
└ Zorys has had his Graphic Designer role on the website revoked due to a ban.
└ The cheater Pomp was caught on the server again and subsequently posted further montages on his YouTube channel.
└ Zorys was permanently banned from the server for leaking internal information, which caused an outcry both in the SB and on the server. He was given the opportunity to respond here in the SN; he initially accepted this opportunity but later declined it.
└ Discussions appeared on the SB website regarding the future of SP and the rejection of proposals without a response from the Tester.
└ A few corrective restarts took place on the server; this month was also not without server crashes, for which we apologise.
