We are delighted to announce that the developers are working on SA-MP 0.3z. It brings several new features straight away:

Probably the most significant change is the finalised, improved synchronisation (you no longer need to shoot in front of a player to reduce their HP) (sawn-off ‘skillers’ will have to relearn their techniques :D :D :D)

Another new feature is the detection of where a fired stake lands (which is useful in many ways, particularly for detecting shots fired at vehicles)

Also, joystick aiming will be disabled in this new version

SA-MP 0.3z is currently an RC version (the developers are working on it and releasing test versions to identify bugs. The full version is usually designated as ‘R’). It is not yet known how long it will take or when 0.3z will be completed; we will let you know as soon as we find out. We will switch to the new version as soon as possible (as with previous updates, your saved scores will be retained).
