You’ve probably noticed that our website has a new design.

Whenever the design changes, there are always a few people who don’t like it, and I’m expecting the same this time. This is probably the biggest change since SP first launched its website, as the site has always had a dark theme since the very first version; we’ve now switched to a new, light, modern and simple web design.

I’d also like to thank the following people who contributed in any way to the development of the new site, or helped in any other way.

- The character limit for the shoutbox has been increased from 200 to 250.

- In the shoutbox, you can tag the person your message is addressed to by clicking on "@".

- New server panel – optimised PHP script to determine the number of players online, so it will load faster.

- Added a ‘blacklist’ – i.e. a list of people who are not and will not be eligible for an unban. This may apply to the server and vice versa.

- A 404 page has been added.

- Forum blocks added – i.e. if you receive a permanent unban, you will be blocked from the forum.

- The following sections have been removed: Losses, Cheating, Complaints about Gangs; everything will now be handled via the ticket system – link: http://support.superparba.eu. Unfortunately, due to a lack of time, I had to delete the version I’d been working on – and with a custom ticket system, there could be loopholes in the system, etc. So I’ve decided to use an existing one. Within one, or at most two days, the ticket system will be available to you, the players, as well. There’s just one thing left to do, and that’s training the administrators.

- The website’s source code is 99% valid, though the Facebook ‘Like’ plugin is throwing up some errors – this is being sorted out somewhere.

- The option to change your nickname has been removed – another unnecessary feature. If you need to change your nickname, send Detroit a PM with a screenshot proving you have a premium account on the server – please DO NOT contact me about this. I’ve left these matters to Detroit.

- The unban system has been removed – requests are now submitted via the ‘New Topic’ button again.

- Auctions have been removed – the old forum-based system has been reinstated.

- The option to write an article has been removed – another completely pointless feature, and, more importantly, most people were just posting rubbish there.

- The option to add a video is available to registered users via the video gallery panel – bottom right.

- Any requests for unban on the website are not dealt with here, but via support.

- There was also a minor ‘bug’. When the site was reinstalled, all files were naturally deleted, and an error always occurs when restoring the admin team section from a backup; therefore, we’re currently without the AT section and I’ll have to set up a temporary one – though only when I have the time.

- A whole load of emoticons have been added; I was adding them at 4 am, so I couldn’t think of any normal names for them. If you have any ideas for renaming them, please post them somewhere.

- Avatars are now displayed next to comments in the news section.

- The old menu is still there – you’ll find it under the Support tab.

- If your IP address is banned, you’ll see a page explaining the reason and providing more detailed information. Preview here.

- For ATomase, I’ve created a panel for managing suggestions and bug reports regarding server improvements. This means that with a single click, a topic can be submitted and simultaneously rejected or approved. So topics won’t be rejected without reason any more.

- A new, simple forum ranking system.

- Etc.... I’ve forgotten something – I know it. :D
