I’ve been working on a new map of the islands this week.
There’s no longer a single motorway running through them. And where there used to be a junction, it was with a ‘dead-end’ island. I’ve built a more thought-out system. The drawbridge and the ferry have been kept. The sinking ship has also been kept, though only one island remains unchanged. The others have been redesigned. Some to a lesser extent, others to a greater extent. At the same time, completely new ones have been added.

New houses have been added, for which I’ve reduced the likelihood of texture clipping. If you have object rendering distance set to maximum and a fast internet connection, you’ll only experience clipping very rarely.
The old houses have been moved. As a result, you’ll need to move your parked vehicles from the old houses to the new ones, otherwise they’ll be floating in the water indefinitely.
The islands have been moved closer to the shores of San Andreas due to pick-ups not spawning beyond the x > 4000 boundary (which is also why there used to be key-based entry points; now you simply need to enter the pick-up itself).

You can now complete missions for both truck drivers and pilots on the islands. All the planned, in-depth jobs will eventually be integrated into the islands as well.
