JOURNALIST RECRUITMENT

Hello,

• Do you want to get involved in the website’s activities?

• Would you like to conduct interviews with players on the server?

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to all these questions, then you’re in the right place!

We’re looking for players who’d be interested in conducting interviews with both new and long-standing players here on the website. Our website is an integral part of the server, and we’re keen to maintain a certain level of activity here too – not just in the shoutbox.

I’d love to see interviews revived here in their old, familiar format, as they used to be – the kind most of you are probably familiar with. But I’d also like to see a new concept of interviews introduced here, in the style of so-called ‘duels’, an idea I was inspired to develop following a suggestion from a player and former journalist.

The ‘duel’ interview would take the form of a moderated discussion featuring two players – be it gangster versus gangster, gangster versus business owner, admin versus player, owner versus player, and so on – alongside a moderator who would ask the questions. Of course, there would need to be interest in these interviews from the players taking part. I believe there would be interest from readers, and it would be an interesting way to liven up the interview section.

HOW TO APPLY

Send a private message on the website to Skylak (CLICK) with a sample interview with a player (it could easily be a friend of yours), so that I can assess the sort of interviews you’d produce for the portal. I’ll leave the topic, style and so on up to you! If you’re not sure how to go about it, you can find inspiration in the ‘Interviews’ section of the forum. If you’re selected for the journalist role, I’ll contact you straight away via this private message to discuss further collaboration.

REWARD

You’ll certainly receive a reward for the journalist role. Like every player who contributes to the running of the server, you too would be fairly and decently rewarded for every high-quality interview. However, I do not want players to apply who are only interested in the reward. The main thing here is the motivation to do something for the server!
